TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Oakwrights Gardening Services
1. Services
Oakwrights Gardening Services provides professional gardening services, including lawn mowing, hedge trimming, pruning, planting, garden clearance, garden renovation, garden design, and general garden maintenance.
Services are available as one-off jobs or ongoing maintenance, as agreed with the client.
2. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations are valid for 7 days from the date issued.
Quotes are based on the visible condition of the garden at the time of inspection. If additional work is required due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., excessive overgrowth, hidden waste, or access issues), the client will be informed and approval will be obtained before proceeding.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due within 3 days of receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For larger projects (such as garden renovations or design work), a deposit of 50% is required prior to commencement.
Late payments may incur additional charges.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.
5. Access to Property
The client must ensure safe and clear access to the property at the agreed time.
If access is not available, a call-out fee may be charged.
6. Weather Conditions
All work is weather-dependent. Oakwrights Gardening Services reserves the right to reschedule services due to unsuitable or unsafe weather conditions.
7. Waste Removal
Green waste will remain on site unless otherwise agreed in advance.
If removal is requested, additional charges may apply.
8. Tools and Equipment
All necessary tools and equipment will be provided.
Clients must inform us of any known hazards such as underground pipes, cables, irrigation systems, or fragile items prior to work commencing.
9. Liability
We take all reasonable care while working on your property. However, we are not liable for:
Pre-existing damage or structural weaknesses
Damage to items not disclosed or clearly visible
Plant loss due to weather, pests, disease, or poor soil conditions
10. Damage or Loss
Any damage caused by Oakwrights Gardening Services must be reported within 24 hours.
Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the affected area where appropriate.
11. Garden Design and Renovation Work
Design plans and renovation work are based on client approval.
Changes requested after agreement may result in additional costs and extended timelines.
12. Ongoing Maintenance Agreements
For regular maintenance services, either party may terminate the agreement with 14 days’ written notice.
13. Health and Safety
We follow all relevant health and safety guidelines.
Work may be postponed or stopped if unsafe conditions arise.
14. Pets and Children
Clients must ensure pets and children are kept away from work areas during service for safety reasons.
15. Parking and Access Costs
Any parking charges or permits required to carry out the work will be added to the final invoice unless otherwise agreed.
16. Photography Clause
Oakwrights Gardening Services reserves the right to take before-and-after photographs of work carried out for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes.
No personal or identifying information (such as house numbers or client identity) will be shared without consent.
17. Complaints
Any concerns must be raised within 48 hours of service completion. We will aim to resolve any issues promptly and fairly.
18. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
19. Acceptance of Terms
By booking services with Oakwrights Gardening Services, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
